Sold out Oeceoclades Chameleon #4797.15 x self (approximately 15 seedlings per flask). The Hybrid: This is a cross between Oeceoclades monophylla (KEW lumps with maculata) x Oeceoclades gracilllima (roseovariegata). It was made first made by Leon Glicenstein in 2012. He wanted to combine the foliage of both parents and improve the size of the flower. In 2018 he selfed his plant for me. It is grown especially for its beautiful patterned foliage; the blooms are nice but small. I pronounce this: EE see-o CLAY deez. Culture: This can be grown in intermediate to warm conditions. Water year round and grow in an open mix so that it can approach dryness between waterings. It likes moderately bright light. A mix with perlite or pumice, small charcoal, 1/4 bar, chopped sphagnum moss and some cut up coconut fiber (not chunks) was recommended to me. Parent: Oeceoclades Chameleon
